Molecular and Cellular Biophysics

Symposium 2012

The second annual symposium on Molecular and Cellular Biophysics at the University of Denver will take place on April 19th, 2012. Early registration ends on April 2nd. Click here  http://alumni.du.edu/mcbsymposium for registration.

Keynote speakers for 2012 are

Prof Robert Phillips, Professor of Applied Physics and Biology, California Institute of Technology

Prof Sandra L. Schmid, Department of Cell Biology, UT Southwestern Medical School

Regional speakers

Tom Perkins, JILA, Molecular Biophysics, University of Colorado, Boulder

William J Betz, Department of Physiology and Biophysics, University of Colorado School of Medicine

Joseph J Falke, Deprtment of Chemistry and Biochemistry, University of Colorado Boulder

Chad Pearson, Cell and Developmental Biology, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus

James Bamburg, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Colorado State University

Robert C. Murphy, Department of Pharmacology, University of Colorado, Denver

Martin Margittai, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, University of Denver

The symposium will be a one-day meeting simialr to last year. It is anticipated that this will be a gathering of biophysicists from much of the state of Colorado, including CU Boulder and CU Denver, and surrounding states. We will have several poster presentation slots, and strongly enoucarge students and scientists to present their work at this meeting to stimulate discussion with other participants. We anticipate 150 participants in 2012. For registration please click here http://alumni.du.edu/mcbsymposium . Contact Dr. Kingshuk Ghosh (kghosh@du.edu) for further details.
