Excellence in Professional Education

The University of Denver (DU) Center for Professional Development (CPD) is a new collaboration between four graduate programs: the Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP), Morgridge College of Education (MCE), Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW), and University College. This innovative collaboration enables CPD to deliver the highest-quality interprofessional education.

  • INTERPROFESSIONAL Our audiences are always comprised of educators, mental health providers, health care professionals, attorneys and more

  • RELEVANT Our content is always state of the art and science with the very best faculty from around the world; we train people for what is now AND what is next; our content is alternately credentialed by DU, the American Psychological Association, the National Association of Social Work, the Colorado Supreme Court and the Colorado Department of Education

  • COMMUNITY-FOCUSED We have dozens of community partners committed to helping us build and host this quality programming; our programs are delivered on and off campus in a way that embeds us in the community around us; we always feature discounted pricing for DU alumni, faculty and staff; our events build community and many feature receptions and networking luncheons

  • Our programs feature distinctive and unique details that set us apart
    • Local food truck catering (including the famous Farm to Truck)
    • Handouts, swag, personalized service, customized learning plans
    • The best faculty, the most interesting content WHEN and HOW you need it.
