The Resource Center for Separating & Divorcing Families
Financial Services
Consultation and Mediation
Parties may request a one-on-one consultation with an experienced financial planner to discuss post-divorce financial circumstances, child support, and planning for a child's financial future. The financial planner will create projections illustrating the short and long term implications of the proposed agreement. Following this consultation, families may be referred to a financial mediation session. This session will include a financial planner and a mediator, and possibly a law, psychology, and/or social work team.
Financial Assessment
The RCSDF provides clients with a comprehensive overview of the financial issues that may arise after a separation or divorce.
Financial Education
RCSDF staff and students provide education to parties about how they can accurately complete sworn financial statements to file with the courts.
