From Golden, Colo., Anya graduated from DU in 2012 with a degree in international studies. She began gymnastics at age 5 and competed for JET Gymnastics and her high school team. Anya has been coaching for seven years at all levels from preschool to pre-team, and she has started working with the Jr. Pioneers Level 4 team.
From Colorado Springs, Colo., Brittany is a junior at DU and has a double major in psychology and Spanish. She began gymnastics when she was 3 years old and continued until she graduated high school. She competed in both high school gymnastics and all-star cheerleading. She has been coaching gymnastics and cheerleading since she was 15 and has worked in the DU Youth Gymnastics program for three years, working with all levels from preschool to advanced.
From Vail, Colo., Christie grew up in South Florida. An accomplished figure skater, she passed the Senior Gold Moves in the Field Test and competed at the USFSA Junior Level while training with accomplished Russian coaches. Throughout high school and college, she worked as a figure skating coach for more than 8 years training her students to compete and medal in competitions. Currently, she attends the DU Sturm College of Law and coaches the Parent-Tot and Preschool levels.
From Los Angeles, Calif., Danielle is a freshman psychology major at DU. She did gymnastics for nine years and has been coaching for two years. She began coaching with the DU Youth Gymnastics program in 2012.
From Huntinton Beach, Calif., Ilyssa has 14 years of gymnastics experience and competed in both USAG and varsity high school gymnastics. She plans to attend DU to study business and will be part of the class of 2017. She has been coaching boys and girls preschool, and recreational classes at DU since 2012.
From Parker, Colo., Jessi is currently at graduate student at the Graduate School of Social Work at DU. She began gymnastics at age 5 and competed through USAG Level 8 at the Colorado Gymnastics Institute. She was the state vault champion in 2006 and is a current member of the DU Club Gymnastics team. She began coaching at Alpha Gymnastics in 2006 and has worked with all levels in the DU Youth Gymnastics program since 2008.
From Littleton, Colo., Lauren is a freshman at DU studying international business. She began gymnastics when she was 7 years old and competed in high school. She has been coaching beginner and intermediate levels for 2 years.
From Franklin, Mass., Moira graduated with a bachelor's of science in chemistry from DU in 2012 and is currently pursuing a master's in geochemistry at the Colorado School of Mines. She competed through USAG Level 9 and trained for level 10 at Brestyan’s Gymnastics in Massachusetts. She is currently competing in the National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs. She has 6 years of coaching experience and has worked with students from beginners to USAG Level 4 team.
From Palm Harbor, Fla., Sarah is currently a master's candidate at the Korbel School of International Studies at DU. She was a competitive gymnast during her childhood and has recently joined the DU coaching team.
From Montrose, Colo., Terese completed a bachelor's in Philosophy of Religion. She was a competitive gymnastics and competed up to USAG Level 6. She has 15 years of coaching experience. Terese has worked in the DU Youth Gymnastics program since 2007, and she coaches primarily preschool and advanced preschool, as well as recreational summer camps.
