About: David Coppini is an assistant professor in the department of Media, Film and Journalism studies at the University of Denver. He completed his Ph.D. in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr. Coppini has two main areas of research. First, he studies mass media effects on political attitudes and behaviors. His second area of research focuses on ways of reducing stereotypes in political and health contexts.
