Anne Penner is an Assistant Professor in the University of Denver Department of Theatre where she teaches Acting, Directing, Viewpoints and Suzuki, and introductory Theatre courses.  Acting work includes Queen in Cymbeline (Colorado Shakespeare Festival), Macon in Abundance, Babe in Crimes of the Heart, Pauline in American Notes, and Savage in Savage in Limbo (all with Sis Tryst Productions); Sarah in Seascape (Modern Muse); Eilis in The Crimson Thread (Arvada Center); and several stories with Stories on Stage.  Directing work includes Gidion's Knot by Johnna Adams, The Nina Variations by Steven Dietz, Arabian Nights by Mary Zimmerman, Church by Young Jean Lee, Frostbite by Lisa D'Amour, and The Seagull by Anton Chekhov.  She also produces annually with her theatre company, Sis Tryst Productions.
