Handling Differences in Personal Relationships
Tuesday, August 11 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. MDT
Join Dr. Howard Markman as he draws on highlights from his favorite DU Undergraduate course, Couples Therapy and Relationship Education, to demonstrate the research-based interactional patterns associated with problems in relationships. You’ll discover a few simple-to-learn, but difficult-to-use skills that help people communicate effectively about important feelings and common relationship issues.
Student Support and Access at DU: The Learning Effectiveness Program and Disabilities Services Program
Wednesday, August 12 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. MDT
At the University of Denver, there are many resources designed to assist our current students with their specific needs. Two of these programs - the Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP) and the Disability Services Program (DSP) – will be featured in this webinar. LEP provides individualized support for neurodivergent learners, while DSP is dedicated to giving students with documented disabilities an equitable opportunity to participate in the University’s programs, courses, services and activities. These programs often work together to give students the tools they need to succeed at DU and beyond.
A Test-Optional Application
Wednesday, August 19 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. MDT
More and more higher education institutions across the country are changing their application processes to include test-optional practices. Tune in to learn more about this process, its history and how it applies to your application to the University of Denver.
Thursday, August 27 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. MDT
The Undergraduate Admission Transfer Team will provide a general overview to help prospective students navigate the transfer process. We will include questions to consider asking before transferring as well as go over tools to smooth your transition to campus.
Directions & Logistics
Find your way to campus, arrange a hotel, and learn about transportation options. We'll tell you what to expect for your visit, what to bring, and suggest what to do while you're in Denver.
For graduate students
If you're considering joining us as a graduate student or you've already been admitted, we hope you'll take the time to visit our campus. Because our campus tours are geared toward undergraduate students, most of the information may not be directly relevant to you. But it's still a great chance to explore campus and get to know the neighborhood.
Meet DU from the comfort of home.
