Water Tank Hill

Water Tank Hill, about 1 mile south of the Ludlow strikers' colony, acted as one of the National Guard's main observation posts for the Ludlow area. From their station on the hill, troops were able to watch the strikers' movements in and out of the Ludlow strikers' colony. On April 20, 1914, the guard used Water Tank Hill to base their attack on the Ludlow strikers' colony.
