Changes to student employment on campus are underway! As part of the 4D student initiative on campus, and the goals outlined in IMPACT 2025, the University of Denver is taking steps to ensure that student employment experiences on campus are maximized to be high quality opportunities that help students connect their learning to their professional futures.

Phase one of this project will make it easier for students and campus employers to connect for open positions regardless if those roles are campus jobs, internships or professional roles. Beginning on May 4, all positions for undergraduate and graduate students will be posted in Pioneer Careers, the Job and Internship posting system for students. Any offices wishing to hire student employees now or in the future should do so by visiting the Pioneer Careers Employer Portal. This site is appropriate whether your position is funded through departmental resources or work study funds.

Similarly, students will now only need to visit one site to learn about campus jobs, internships, fellowships or professional opportunities by using the Pioneer Careers Student login page. On this site students will be able to search for opportunities, view career events, and schedule appointments with their career advisor.  If your office links to the existing student employment page on your departmental website or includes this link in communications to students, please update your materials to reflect this new job search platform link.

Phase one of this initiative also includes gathering important feedback and insight from student employees and student supervisors to understand the current state of employment on campus. Additionally, the survey will help gather information on the most pressing future programmatic needs. All relevant staff and students received this survey the week of April 20 and are encouraged to complete the survey to provide feedback to inform this exciting new initiative.
