Exporting
Outlook 2003 data into a PST file

In Outlook 2003, go to "File", "Import and Export".

Choose "Export to a file" and click "Next".

Choose "Personal Folder File (.pst)" and click "Next".

Highlight the appropriate account which you would like to back up.

Check "Include subfolders" to backup all of the contents of the account.

Click "Next".

Click "Browse" to save your PST file on your Desktop.

A new window (see below) shows up. Navigate to your Desktop and name your PST file. For example, "my backup 2005" and click "OK".

Select "Replace duplicates with items exported" and click "Finish".

Select "Replace duplicates with items exported" and click "Finish".

Click "OK" to start the exporting process.

The following PST icon appears on your desktop.

You have successfully exported your Outlook data into a PST file.
