How to Print
- To print from a lab computer, the appropriate public printer options for that area will be available. Make sure to print your document to the specific area printer, and your print job will appear on the associated print release station(s).
- When using a laptop, simply print your document to the appropriate printer (as installed by the DUnet Setup). Your print job will appear on release station(s) associated with that printer.
Note: For more information about connecting to the network with your laptop, please visit:
http://www.du.edu/uts/helpdesk/docs/networking/laptops.html
- At the print release station, the following screen will appear. To activate the station to print your job, swipe your Pioneer Card or your VTS card.

- Once the station has been activated, a list of print jobs will be displayed, along with your current balance. Should one of your accounts be empty (free printing or Flex account), only a single, unidentified balance will be displayed.

- To release your job (document to be printed), select the document and click Print .
Note: Your account(s) will be charged after you have clicked the print icon. Then an updated balance will be displayed.
- To insure no one else uses your account for printing, always click the Log Off button after releasing your print jobs. This returns the release station back to the main Print screen. There is a six-second time frame for selecting job(s).
- Unreleased or waiting print jobs are automatically removed from the print queue after 120 minutes.
Note: Please be ready to display your ID as directed. You also need your Pioneer Card or VTS card to print from the print release stations. For more information about campus computer labs, see Computer Labs .
