Your DU ID and Passcode
A valid DU ID number and Passcode are required to access many of the University of Denver online resources.
- Your DU ID is the 9-digit number on your DU ID card. Your Passcode is a secret code used as your password by many online systems.
- On your DU ID card, your DU ID number is in the upper left-hand corner below your name and University affiliation.
- For faculty and staff, your DU ID number is on the left-hand side of your pay stub under IDENT NO.
- The Office of the Registrar (303.871.2284) manages DU IDs and Passcodes for students.
- Human Resources (303.871.7420) manages DU IDs and Passcodes for employees (faculty and staff).
- Changes in Passcodes made by these offices will not take affect until the following day.
If a system will not accept your DU ID, please call the UTS Computer HelpDesk at 303.871.4700 to verify that your DU ID is in the system.
How do I get a DU ID and Passcode?
When you become part of the University of Denver as a student or as a faculty or staff member, you are given a DU ID and Passcode.
If you are a student and don't know your DU ID or Passcode, please contact the Office of the Registrar (303.871.2284).
If you are faculty or staff and don't know your DU ID or Passcode, please contact Human Resources (303.871.7420).
For faculty and staff, your DU ID is located on the left-hand side of your pay stub under IDENT NO.
Can I change my DU ID?
NO!
How do I change my Passcode?
You can change your Passcode through MyWeb. Log in to the secure area of MyWeb and follow the instructions found there.
If you have problems changing your Passcode, please contact the office that manages your DU ID and Passcode. Students should contact the Office of the Registrar (303.871.2284). Faculty and staff (employees) should contact Human Resources (303.871.7420).
