Blackberry Setup for Imap and Pop3

In order to wirelessly sync a Blackberry with your Outlook, we need to use the Blackberry Internet Service. This option will only bring email to your device. If you are using Pop3, make sure that you have it set to leave a copy of your messages on the server. (Click here for details.)

To start, find Email Setup from the Setup Wizard. This Setup Wizard runs when you first turn on your device, and can also be found through the main menu. If you don't see it there, press the Menu key and then select Show All.

Select Create New Account

Fill in the required information with your desired Username and Password. This is seperate from your DU account and is through your provider.

Now select Add An Email Account, and fill in your full username@du.edu email address and the password you use for webmail.

The phone will delay for a while, and then you will see a success message. New email will start being delivered about 20 minutes later.
