Windows Mobile with XP

This is the solution to use if you are not planning on synchronizing your device wirelessly. You will need ActiveSync, which is available from Microsoft here. Install it with the default settings.

1. After completing install, the ‘Get Connected’ screen will appear. Follow the instructions in connecting your device.
2. If successful, the ‘Synchronization Setup Wizard’ screen will appear. If your device is not discovered, try reseating or using a different USB port/connection and restarting your device after connected.
3. Click ‘Next’.
4. Uncheck the box to ‘synchronize directly with a server running Microsoft Exchange Server’, and click ‘Next’.
   
   
5. Verify that the above boxes are checked, and then finish the wizard.

Your device will now synchronize when you connect it to your PC.
