SSH and QVT

SSH Corporation's secure shell client can be configured to forward network connections of other programs through secure tunnels. The following set-up instructions describe how to connect QVT through a secure SSH tunnel. Connecting QVT in this manner combines the full functionality of QVT with the data security of SSH. Similar setups can be used for other programs that operate on different ports. Both SSH and QVT must be installed on your computer. For general information about SSH and links for downloading SSH Corportation's secure shell client, please see the Help Desk Secure Shell home page. QVT can be downloaded from the UTS HelpDesk.
