2. Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7

3. Office 2010 Professional

Students pursuing a degree at Daniels College of Business might be taking classes that use Microsoft Access - this software piece is NOT available in the Office for Mac suite and only for the Windows version of the Office suite; hence the need to install the above listed software.

GRADUATE STUDENTS, PLEASE CONTACT STUDENT SERVICES (303-871-3416) IN THE DANIELS COLLEGE OF BUSINESS TO TALK TO YOUR PROGRAM ADVISOR ABOUT WHICH CLASSES YOU MAY BE TAKING.

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS, PLEASE CONTACT DANIELS UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS (303-871-6910) FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MICROSOFT CERTIFICATION.
The Office of Undergraduate Programs prefers a PC platform.  A PC platform is preferred due to software programs that will be used during business courses to enhance the overall user experience.

FINANCE, ACCOUNTING, STATISTICS STUDENTS: PC platform is preferred due to software programs that will be used during class. If you do elect to purchase a MAC, you will need to have it configure for Bootcamp as well as purchase an additional copy of Office 2010 for the PC side of MAC.

Parallels Desktop for Mac will enable you to install Windows Operating Systems (XP, Vista, or Windows 7) on your Mac so that you may load Office 2010. This solution is fully supported at our UTS Help Desk located at 2100 S. High St.

Microsoft may have special pricing as well:
