Every year, our gender and women's studies students pursue internship opportunities that shape their learning and future careers, and make a difference in our communities. From domestic abuse and violence prevention to LGBTQ+ support to reproductive and civil rights, your internship experience can offer on-the-job experience in shaping public policy and building community coalitions.

Study Abroad

Many of our students take the opportunity to study abroad, whether through the Cherrington Global Scholars program or as part of our Global Masters Scholars joint BA and MS degree with Lund University in Sweden. If you choose to go abroad, you'll have opportunities to explore gender and sexuality from a different cultural context, an experience that will further inform and shape your understanding of the ways gender shapes our world.
