Korbel Latin America Center

Director's Welcome

Bienvenido! Bem Vindo!

Welcome to the official website for the Josef Korbel School Latin America Center (KLAC) at the University of Denver. We are delighted that you are interested in getting involved with our new center. KLAC is the Rocky Mountain hub for scholarship and events on Latin America. The center supports and coordinates educational, research, policy, and cultural activities related to Latin America, international relations among the Americas, and the Latinx population in the United States.

The US Rocky Mountain West has a historical connection to Latin America; many of today's Denver residents originate from the region; the university has a vibrant Latin American student community and a number of active university researchers study issues pertaining to the Americas.

Our Center aims to be an open, inclusive, and collective enterprise that contributes to deeper understanding and social change to bring progress to the Americas and especially US-Latin American relations.

We encourage you to join our mailing list to stay informed about upcoming events, publications and ways you can get involved. Please email us to put your name on the list to make sure you receive important updates about KLAC activities.

We appreciate your ongoing support of the Korbel Latin America Center and hope you enjoy exploring our website. Additionally, be sure to 'like' us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.
