Master's International students start in the classroom before moving to the field

DU Peace Corps Community

Master's International Program

The Peace Corps' Master's International (MI) program is offered through DU's Josef Korbel School of International Studies.

This unique program of study allows students to reverse the typical pathway of volunteers.

Instead of completing Peace Corps service and then moving to graduate school, MI students study at Korbel for one year before finishing their degrees in their Peace Corps countries.MI students have the great opportunity to take classroom experience and apply it in the field.

  • Hold informal information sessions on what to expect.
  • Send care packages to University MI students already in the field.
