The national ΦBK Visiting Scholars program enriches the intellectual life of host campuses by offering chapters the opportunity to compete each year for a visit from a panel of twenty of the nation's most distinguished scholars. The DU chapter has welcomed multiple scholars in the past decade, including:

• Dr Evie Shockley (April 2021). With co-sponsors ΦBK Alpha Association of Colorado and the DU Department of English and Literary Arts. Rutgers University English professor virtually visited classes, and offered two poetry readings and discussions. (download/open PDF flyer)
• Dr Richard Alley (November 2019). With co-sponsors Biological Sciences, Geography and the Environment, University Libraries, Center for Sustainability, and the Honors Program. Penn State Professor Alley guest lectured in several classes, shared meals with students, faculty and staff, and presented a free public lecture: Two-Mile Time Machines: Ice Cores and Abrupt Climate Change. • Dr Jamsheed Choksy (April 2019): With co-sponsors Religious Studies and the Center for Middle East Studies. Indiana University professor Choksy guest lectured in class, had meals with PBK members, and presented on Religious Minorities in Contemporary Iran: The Politics of Tolerance and Intolerance (PDF event flyer)
