Planning Your Visit

See if DU is the right fit for you.

Your visit to campus is an important step in discovering if the University of Denver is the right fit for you. We want to make your visit experience as beneficial and informative as possible. Here is some information that will help you as you plan your visit:

Please note that our office will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 25th through Tuesday, Jan. 1st.

How do I register?

Register for your campus visit at least two weeks in advance using our online Campus Visit Planner to let us know which visit program you would like to attend. Please keep in mind some programs have limited space and can fill prior to two weeks before the program.

What should I bring?

We encourage you to research DU and come prepared with a list of questions, a notebook and pen and a camera or mobile phone for picture-taking. And because our campus is one mile above sea level, bring plenty of water, and allow yourself time to acclimate to the altitude.

What should I wear?

We recommend that you dress casually for your campus visit in medium-weight layers of clothing and comfortable shoes. Denver weather is typically mild and dry, and during the fall and winter, daytime temperatures can range from very warm to crisp and cool. Sunglasses are essential around here, with nearly 300 days of sunny weather throughout the year.
