Ab Irvine ScholarshipsThe Great Southwest Civitan Foundation award three scholarships to Junior, Senior, or Graduate students in Special Education who are also planning a career in teaching special education or working within the public school system. Students must have residency within the Great Southwest District (Colorado, New Mexico or El Paso County, Texas). Apply by May 1st.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement FoundationFor full-time graduate students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement/financial need as well as leadership, volunteer, civic and academic services.
AH & LEF Graduate ScholarshipsAvailable to full or part-time graduate hospitality students with a min. GPA of 3.0. Students may be enrolled in any graduate program related to his/her career within the hospitality industry if the student has an undergraduate degree in hospitality or four years employment in the lodging industry. If the student does not have a hospitality undergrad degree or the work experience, then the student must be enrolled in a graduate hospitality management program. Applications accepted January 1 - May 1.
American Foundation for Aging Research Applicants must be undergraduate, graduate or pre-doctoral students. U. S. citizenship is not required. Must be actively involved in, or planning active involvement in a specific biomedical or biochemical research project with a faculty member in the field of aging.

Army Health Professions Scholarship ProgramThe HPSP is available for students pursuing advanced degrees in medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, psychiatric nursing, optometry or psychology.
B. Davis ScholarshipAvailable to graduate and undergraduate students, as well as high school juniors and seniors. Write an essay addressing problems on college campuses or about challenges high school students face.
Black College Dollars Free scholarship search, geared for African-American students, contains more than 300 scholarships searchable by GPA requirement, academic and career interest, and application deadline.
BrainTrack Business School Scholarships Essay Competition which runs twice a year. Submission dealines are March 1, 2011 and November 1, 2011. Available to part-time and full-time students. (1) $1000 and (1) $500 award.
Chinese American Library Association ScholarshipsOpen to full-time students of Chinese heritage who are currently enrolled in an ALA-accredited master's or doctoral program of library and information science.
College Prowler "No Essay" ScholarshipStudents are drawn at random every month for a chance to win $2,000. Available to all high school, college, and graduate students and those planning to enroll within 12 months. Apply by the 30th of each month.
Colorado Business and Professional Women's Education FoundationAvailable to women at least 25 years of age, a Colorado resident for at least 12 months, U.S. citizen, and attend a Colorado institution of higher education, have financial need.
Credit Challenged ScholarshipSpendOnLife offers a scholarship to students who have been denied a student loan due to the recent credit crunch on their personal history. Students (HS seniors, undergrad, graduates) must be enrolled full-time at a University, be 17-25 years old, and must have been rejected a student loan due to negative credit. Apply by June 15th.
Dottie Roberts Foundation Scholarship Scholarship is awarded to support a college education for young women who have demonstrated an interest in and commitment to the publishing industry. The typical scholarship award per candidate will be $10,000 with amounts varying according to the financial needs of the applicant.
Applicants must be: women; age 16-25; Colorado resident; enrolled full-time; have a demonstrated record of interest in the publication of printed material through such activities as work on the school newspaper, yearbook, or other magazine or printed publication. Applications must include:
- a curriculum vitae or resume, not to exceed two pages in length
- a personal statement, not to exceed 500 words
- a scanned copy of the most recent official academic transcript of college or university coursework bearing the institution's seal; high-school transcript acceptable if the student has not yet begun college-level work
- a copy of the federal Student Aid Report (SAR), documenting financial need, or equivalent
- up to three letters of recommendation, including at least one from the student's academic advisor, that address the quality of the candidate's academic work and interest in the publication of print materials. These letters are to be submitted electronically to the address below on or before the application deadline.

- All applicants must be accepted to, or currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited program in the United States.
- All applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent through latest fall semester.
- All applicants must be pursuing degrees in a care-giving profession, including but not limited to: Medicine, Mental Health, and Teaching. Deadline to apply is August 1, 2011. Preference to Graduate students.
Dr. Nancy Foster Scholarship Program
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Dr. Nancy Foster Scholarship Program recognizes outstanding scholarship and encourages independent graduate level research -- particularly by female and minority students -- in oceanography, marine biology and maritime archaeology. Apply by March 31

Feldman Fellowship for Graduate Studies in Journalism One-year stipend of $5,000 to defray tuition costs for graduate students in journalism.
Gene and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship ProgramAvailable to high school students, current undergraduates, and graduate students. Awards will be selected by the personal statement provided.

Institute for Human StudiesLast year IHS awarded 120 scholarships to outstanding undergraduate, graduate, law, and professional students who are exploring the principles, practices, and institutions necessary to a free society through their academic work.
Institute of Management AccountantsScholarships offered to undergraduate and graduate students who are IMA Student Members, have a min. GPA of 3.0, and are pursuing a career in management accounting, financial management, or information.
Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund
MALDEF's Law School Scholarship Program awards scholarships of varying amounts to several students each year based on their commitment to serve the Latino community through law; their past achievement and potential for achievement; and their financial need. MALDEF's Law School Scholarship Application for the 2011-2012 school year will be open to all law students who will be enrolled full-time in an American-accredited law school in 2011-2012.
Mike Edison Scholarship Application Awarded to a female student who has demonstrated a commitment to a career as a trial lawyer. Application deadline is May 31, 2011
National Society Daughters of the American RevolutionMultiple scholarships awarded to students showing dedication to the pursuit of degrees in diverse disciplines including history, law, nursing, and education. Multiple deadlines ranging from February to April.
NOAA Scholarship-Graduate Sciences ProgramFor students pursuing research and educational training in atmospheric, environmental, remote sensing and oceanic sciences at minority serving institutions (MSI) when possible. The GSP offers between two years (master's candidates) to four years (doctoral students) of NOAA-related research and training opportunities. Must have a min GPA of 3.0.
NSPE Educational Foundation Several opportunities for engineering students.
On-line MBA Scholarship$500 will be awarded to a student currently enrolled in an MBA program or undergraduate business related program. Scholarships are awarded based on extracurricular involvement and academic history. Apply by September 1st.

Pfizer's Epilepsy Scholarship AwardFor students who have overcome the challenges of epilepsy, use a doctor's care, have been successful in school, have done will in outside activities, and have shown a desire to do well in college or graduate school. Available to high school seniors, undergraduates, or seniors applying to graduate school. Apply by May 1st.
Progressive Group AllianceApplicants must be working toward a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Culinary Arts, have a min GPA of 3.0, and be planning a career in the Food Service Industry.
Sachs FoundationOpen to African-American resident of Colorado, must prove financial need, up to $4,000 for graduate students.
Society of Exploration GeophysicsFor high school seniors, undergraduates and graduate students intending to pursue a college curriculum directed toward a career in applied geophysics or physics, mathematics, and/or geology. Applications will be accepted September 1st.
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI and the Denver FBI Citizens? Academy Alumni Association
For students interested in a career with the FBI and who are currently enrolled in their junior year, prospective graduate school students, and current graduate school students with at least one remaining year of studies. Accepted students must apply for and complete the Citizens? Academy course offered by the Denver Division of the FBI during the spring of 2010. Apply by February 28, 2010. Vada Kyle Holms Academic Scholarship for Graduate StudentsFor female graduate students who are Colorado residents, that have a min GPA of 3.0, and are in their second semester of attending an accredited university.
