Helpful Information
The purpose of the DU Quick Copy Center is to provide convenient, low-cost, high-speed production of routine duplicating jobs. The following procedures and suggestions have been adopted to achieve that purpose.
- All copy work submitted to the DU Quick Copy Center must be copy ready.
- All printing (not copies) work submitted to the DU Quick Copy Center must be submitted in person or accompanied by a green Work Request Form. Please allow 3-5 days minimum for printing jobs.
- Before being copied or printed, outgoing Bulk (permit 321) and Business Reply (permit 811) mail must be approved by the Mail Services Manager, Gina Harris to avoid mail delays, rejections and extra charges.
- The DU Quick Copy Center will make Intermediate Production Masters (IPMs) of originals that are incompatible with the duplicators' automatic document handler. Such situations include originals of non-standard size, copying from books, and originals that are badly wrinkled or improperly pasted-up. The cost of an IPM (25c each) can be avoided if originals are properly prepared.
- If you have a large job to be reproduced, it is advisable to call the DU Quick Copy Center to schedule the job in advance. Please contact the DU Quick Copy Center Manager with questions or for estimates.
- Occasionally, certain jobs may not be suitable for processing at the DU Quick Copy Center. We will be glad to assist you with other methods of reproducing your material.
- DU Quick Copy Center is NOT open on Saturdays.
