Sustainability Council

Council Information

Meeting Schedule

The DU Sustainability Council meets on a monthly basis, and everyone is invited.  Please join us!  Meetings occur the second Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in Driscoll 1880. Meeting dates for 2012 are as follows:

The Sustainability Council also has a number of subcommittees, and anyone who'd like to serve on a committee is welcome.  The Council has formed eight active committees focused on investigating and addressing:

  • Best Practices
  • Outreach
  • Curriculum and Research
  • Facilities and Energy
  • Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle
  • Food/Mindful Consumption
  • Transportation
  • Social Sustainability
  • Rocky Mountain Sustainability Summit (ended in 2011)

There are council members on each committee in addition to other members of the University community (additional students, staff, and faculty).
