Jim Berscheidt serves as the university's primary spokesperson and works with many departments on campus to promote their programs locally and nationally. He especially concentrates on the following: Chancellor, Provost, Graduate School of International Studies, College of Education, Undergraduate Admission, and the Graduate School of Social Work.
Jim joined the University of Denver in 2003. Jim graduated from Angelo State University with a degree in journalism. He received an MS in Communication Management from Colorado State University in 2002. Jim worked as an anchor and reporter in radio and television for 20 years before entering the public relations field in 1999.

Dave Brendsel serves as secondary spokesman for DU. He provides media relations services for the Graduate School of Social Work, Public Policy studies, Penrose Library, University College and DU’s Career Center. Dave also represents DU centers and institutes devoted to diversity, public policy issues and social work.
Dave joined the University of Denver in 2004 after working in print journalism for nearly a decade. He has a degree in journalism from Colorado State University and more than 15 years of business experience.

Chase Squires provides media relations services for the Sturm College of Law, the School of Engineering and Computer Science, and the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. He also represents DU centers and institutes involved with scientific research, engineering, law, land use and transportation.
Chase joined the University of Denver in March of 2007 after nearly 19 years in newspaper and news wire reporting. He is a 1988 graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, S.C.

Kristal Griffith provides media relations services for the school of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, including the Lamont School of Music, Art & Art History, Languages and Literatures, Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Political Science. She also represents DU centers and institutes involved with Judaic studies, study abroad, psychology, humanities and communications.
Kristal joined the University of Denver in July 2007. A graduate of Texas Christian University with a degree in Journalism, she worked in the television industry as a reporter and producer for more than a decade.

Jordan Ames provides media relations services for the Daniels College of Business in conjunction with Daniels media relations professionals, all undergraduate student activities and The Women’s College. She also represents DU centers and institutes involved in business and community engagement.
Jordan joined the University of Denver in June 2005. A 2002 graduate of DU with a degree in Mass Communications, Jordan has experience in media relations, advertising, graphic design, non-profit management and event coordination.
