Experience Residential Life

Living on campus kick-starts your DU experience; it connects you to the social and intellectual life of the University. That's why we require first- and second-year undergraduates to live on campus, and why we offer comfortable, convenient housing options for all our students.

Important Housing Resources

As you are planning transportation to and from campus during the year, please refer to the important dates regarding residence life. Please note that some of the residence halls close over winter break. Therefore, please plan accordingly. There are often many questions about living on campus, so we also included an FAQ section on our website.

On the myWeb tab through PioneerWeb you will be able to view your new address as well as more information about moving in, what to bring, living with a roommate, and what to expect on move-in day.

Move-in day

For winter quarter students, we will open the residence halls at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016. If you arrive before your designated check-in time, you'll be asked to wait. Please make arrangements accordingly.

For new students starting in fall quarter 2016, move-in will begin around Labor Day. Move in and Orientation should be finalized by March 1 and details can be found on the Discoveries website for all the latest information.
