Special Programs oversees several distinctive programs aimed at serving both the DU campus and the local community, such the Senior Audit Program, Early Experience Program, RAC, and Retired Persons Board. It's our mission to support these programs so members of our community can participate in DU's resources.
Senior Audit Program
The University of Denver's Senior Audit Program allows adults age 60 or older to audit select Undergraduate courses. Availability is based on class size and permission from the instructor. Graduate level courses, foreign language courses, computer science courses, and courses at the Women's College are not available for audit. The cost to audit is $100 per course.
The Religious Advisory Council
The Religious Advisory Council (RAC )is a monthly meeting of religious leaders and representatives. The meetings take place at the University Park Methodist Church.
Early Experience Program
The Early Experience Program (EEP) is for high school juniors and seniors who want to enrich their secondary school experience with university-level courses. Students chosen for the program remain in high school, pursuing their diplomas, while choosing courses from the undergraduate offerings each academic quarter at the University of Denver. Courses taken at the University are intended to be used for college credit. Students are classified as non-degree candidates.
