Greyhound. The Greyhound goes to various cities and mountain areas in Colorado such as Vail, Ft. Collins, Frisco, Durango, Fairplay, Glenwood Springs, Steamboat Springs, Telluride, and Winter Park. The Greyhound station in Denver is conveniently located in Downtown Denver.

Shopping Areas

Downtown Denver/16th Street Mall. Take the E, F, or H Light Rail Northbound from the DU Light Rail Station. If you take the E train, exit at Union. If you take the F or H train, exit at 16th Street Mall. Maps at the stations will direct you to your favorite stores.

Cherry Creek Mall. Take the 24 Bus (Northbound) near the Southeast corner of Evans & University. Get off at the stop either in front of Bed, Bath & Beyond or the next one, in front of Whole Foods.

Colorado Boulevard (Target, Nordstroms Rack, Sunflower Market, Home Depot, Whole Foods, UA Movie Theatre, etc). Take the E, F, or H Light Rail Southbound from the DU Light Rail Station. At Colorado Boulevard, transfer to the 40 bus (direction of travel will depend on destination).


Colorado Springs

  1. Take H-Line Northbound from the DU Light Rail Station to 18th & California.
  2. Walk one block West and one block North to 19th & Stout. Look for the RTD bus stop with the black FREX sign.
  3. You must have the exact fare for the bus (approx. $11).

*Your bus pass from DU will not work on the FREX, everyone must pay the fare.

Option 1 (approx. 90 min. to DIA)- Take the E, F, or H Light Rail Northbound from DU Light Rail station to Downtown Denver. If you take the F or H line, exit at the 16th Street Mall, if you take the E line exit at Union Station. Take the Free Mall Shuttle to Market Street Station. Transfer to the AF Eastbound to DIA. Buses leave approximately every 60 minutes.

Option 2 (approx. 90 min. to DIA)- Take the H Light Rail Southbound from DU Light Rail station to 9-Mile Station. Transfer to the AT Eastbound to DIA. Buses leave approximately every 30 minutes.

Option 3 (drive or get a ride to a Park-N-Ride)- Park your car at the 40th & Airport Blvd. Park-N-Ride lot and take the AB, AF, or AT to DIA. Buses leave every 15/30 minutes and take approximately 15 minutes to get to DIA. Or park your car at the Stapleton Transfer Station (Quebec & Martin Luther King Blvd.) and take the AB or AS to DIA. Buses leave every 15/30 minutes and take approximately 25 minutes to get to DIA.
