The DU Transportation Center wants to help you get around town using RTD's bus and light rail system. Click on the links above to find general itineraries that simply explain how to get from DU to places like downtown Denver, Cherry Creek Shopping District, Boulder and even the airport!

Shopping Trips

Cherry Creek Shopping District:

• Board the northbound #24 at Evans & University.
• Get off at the stop in front of Bed, Bath & Beyond or Whole Foods.

University Hills Shopping Center:

• Board the eastbound #21 at Evans & University.
• At Colorado Boulevard transfer to the southbound #40.
• Get off at Yale and cross to University Hills Shopping Center.

Super Target:

• Board the eastbound #21 at Evans & University.
• At Colorado Boulevard, transfer to the northbound #40.
• Get off at Virginia & Colorado, in front of Target.

Downtown Denver:

• Board the westbound #21 at Evans & University
• At the Evans Light Rail station, transfer to any northbound train.
• If you take a C train, exit at Union Station. If you take a D train, exit at 16th Street Mall.
• Maps at the stations will direct you to your favorite stores.

Boulder Bound

Getting to Boulder is easy:

1. Take the #21 Westbound to the Evans Light Rail Station
2. Transfer to the C or D lines Northbound into Denver
3. Exit at Union Station (C-Line) or 16th Street Mall (D-Line) and take the free mall shuttle to Market Street Station.
4. At Market Street Station board the B or BX regional bus to Boulder. The bus terminates at Boulder Station, just blocks away from the Pearl Street Mall.

skyRide

skyRide to the airport is a cinch ...

and free with an Eco Pass or College Pass:

Option 1 - Bus it all the way … Approx. 90 minutes to DIA.
From the University & Evans intersection, take the #21 Eastbound to Monaco Parkway. Transfer to the #65 Northbound and get off at the Stapleton Transfer Station. Take either the AS or AB to DIA. Buses leave every 15/30 minutes.

Option 2 - Drive or be dropped off at the 40th & Pena Blvd. park-n-Ride
Park your car for free at the 40th & Pena Blvd. park-n-Ride lot and take the AB, AF or AT to DIA. Lot offers 24 hour security. Buses leave every 15/30 minutes and take approximately 15 minutes to get to DIA.

Option 3 - Drive or be dropped off at the Stapleton park-n-Ride

Park your car for free at the Stapleton Transfer Station (Quebec & Martin Luther King Blvd.) and take the AB or AS to DIA. Lot offers 24 hour security. Buses leave every 15/30 minutes and take approx. 25 minutes to get to DIA.

Sometimes shuttles and taxis are a better option for getting to the airport if you don't have a car, have a lot of luggage, and don't mind spending a little more money.
