Board-approved policies

Departmental policies

Welcome to the University of Denver's Administrative Policy Site

This page provides links to administrative policies that apply to the entire University community.  All policies and procedures much be congruent with existing Board of Trustees approved policies.

NOTE: Individual schools and departments also may maintain additional policies.  Such policies do not override university-wide policies.

There are several types of policies at the University of Denver:

Board-approved policies are statements that define corporate matters of general significance to the University, and that provide the basis for a consistent response by management.  (Board policy 1.10.040, 2/15/05)

Departmental policies and procedures are statements that articulate administrative and operating procedures specific to a division or administrative unit of the University.  These are sponsored by Directors of administrative functional units, and presented for approval by the appropriate executive level senior administrator prior to posting in writing or electronically.  (Board policy 1.10.040, 2/15/05)

We emphasize that this page is in the stage of development.  It does not, at this time, have all the policies, procedures, and guidelines that are in effect in the university.  Please refer to the appropriate Division, Department, or unit for the policies currently in effect.

Please contact the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Business and Financial Affairs at (303) 871-3588 with any questions.
