Hazardous Materials

I. PURPOSE

To outline responsibilities and procedures regarding chemical and bio hazardous materials.

II. RESPONSIBILITIES AND PROCEDURES

A.The University's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S)is designated to oversee the use and disposal of all hazardous materials.

B.Purchasing Services shall cooperate with EH&S, to include:

1.Forwarding of all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).

2.Making purchase order and delivery information available through the electronic purchasing system.
