Graduation

Welcome to Graduation. In order to be considered for graduation, for your name to appear on degree candidate lists and to participate in graduation ceremonies, an application for graduation must be filed. Undergraduate and Graduate Students anticipating graduation in this academic year must apply to graduate as follows:

All Undergraduate Students must file an application for graduation at least three quarters prior to the intended quarter of graduation. Students may apply electronically by clicking on the Graduation Application button to the left. Students may also fill out an application in the Office of the Registrar, University Hall, Garden Level, Room G55.

All Graduate Students, except those in the Daniels College of Business, must file an application for graduation at least one quarter prior to the intended quarter of graduation. Students at the Daniels College of Business must apply two quarters prior to the intended quarter of graduation. Students may apply in Graduate Studies or, as appropriate, with your college or school. Check with your department, school or college for more information.

Diplomas will not be released until graduation is finalized and all holds are cleared. The final responsibility for completing graduation requirements lies with the student. For specific degree requirements, see the official Bulletin, undergraduate or graduate, of the College or School that offers the degree program you expect to complete.

Graduation Application: Undergraduate students intending to graduate within three quarters can apply for graduation using this on-line form.

Here you will find commencement dates and times and information including related events, parking, disability access, hotels, speakers, student instructions, cap and gown information, video and photo services, and Bookstore services including diploma frames and class rings.
