Day of Recognition

On June 12th, DU will host a day of recognition that includes both an in-person component, and a digital ceremonial event that families around the world can view and share across social media.

At 12 p.m. MDT on the 12th, we will present a congratulatory video message from Chancellor Haefner and the deans officially conferring degrees to students who have completed their academic requirements. Seated at a safe physical distance from each other, university leadership will be dressed in academic regalia and pay proper tribute to both our undergraduate and graduate students who are graduating this spring.

Celebrate with Us

We're also planning a more personal in-person celebration on June 12 in the Mary Reed Circle on campus. While following all safety protocols, we're inviting our graduating students to sign up for an in-person Commencement photo moment with Chancellor Jeremy Haefner and Corinne Lengsfeld, interim provost and executive vice chancellor.

Details for signing up will be sent the first week of June.
