Who We Are
Connecting Staff Women (CSW) is a group of staff women at the University of Denver interested in personal and professional education and development. We explore topics such as how to balance work and personal life, acting as effective mentors, career development and managing change. CSW was formerly named Women Advocating Change (WAC) when the board and membership decided to change the name in August 2008 to reflect the group's interest in facilitating better connectivity and networking among staff women.
Background
Women Advocating Change, now CSW, was first organized in 1997-1998 as one of six women's groups on campus including the Women's Leadership Council (for senior level women administrators), the Women's Faculty Association, the Undergraduate Women's Council, and the Staff Women's Association and Network.
All six women's groups communicate and work together through representation on the Women's Coalition.
