DU employees regularly make use of up to four DU computer interfaces in the course of their work and life within the DU community: MyWeb, webCentral, E-mail, and Banner.

To make use of any of these services, you will need to use your DU ID number and password, which should be sent to you by University Technology Services (UTS) or will be available through your department HR Liaison or hiring manager within days of hire.

webCentral is an access-controlled intranet and personal management system for University employees and students.

webCentral includes compus-wide announcements, personal announcements, DU news and news sources, Denver weather, and interfaces/links to campus resources such as the DU Portfolio Community and Penrose Library.

The system also provides its own interface for DU e-mail (see below), an intranet-linkable calendar system, as well as access to myWeb (see above) and Banner (see below).

webCentral is accessible directly through http://webcentral.du.edu.

DU e-mail is provided to all employees and students at the University. Some departments use Microsoft Exchange to handle employee e-mail while others do not. Depending on your department's practice, you will need to access your e-mail in one of two ways:

• In departments with Microsoft Exchange
In the office, you will probably use Microsoft Outlook. You will be able to access your e-mail from any computer at https://weboutlook.du.edu

• In departments without Microsoft Exchange
In the office, you may use Microsoft Outlook or another e-mail client. You will be able to access your e-mail from any computer at http://webcentral.du.edu

SCT Sungard Banner is an access-controlled administrative management tool. DU's University Technology Services operates Banner modules for
