*USE IE BROWSER ON A PC MACHINE* - Only the Internet Explorer browser on a PC is supported for accessing courses.

STEP 1: Preview & Select Course(s)

You will first need to preview and select the course(s) you are interested in taking by visiting the Online Course Catalog. Note the course number of the titles you wish to take.

Go to: bar

You will find titles listed by curriculum and then by sub-categories. To view the course description, select the underlined course number (e.g. COMM0102) on the side of the page, next to the course title.

STEP 2: Create an Account

You will then need to create an account to be able to access the courses.

Click skillport and select First-time users

Complete the required information by entering your FULL first and last names, select DU as the Department and use your DU email ID as your login. For example, if Jane Smith has a DU email address of jsmith@du.edu then her login would be jsmith.

STEP 3:  Log in

Return to the Training and development login page page

Enter your ID / Password and login.

You can now browse and add courses to "My Plan" from the Catalog tab or by searching for the course number in the Search window.
