Maintain Don’t Gain

WHAT:  Maintain Don't Gain is an 8-week weight maintenance program. You will receive weekly e-mails about managing your weight during the holidays. Form a team with your co-workers to get started.
WHEN:  Registration                Nov. 1 through Wednesday, November 22nd
  Program Dates          11/12/12 - 1/7/13
HOW:

Register online or with this paper form. All participants must be registered AND have an initial weight recorded by Friday, November 16, 2012. NOTE: Individual weights are anonymous and never reported. Only team weight changes will be reported (+2, -3, etc.).

WEIGH-IN

Each participant will need an official weigh-in during the first week of the program (Nov. 12-16). Your weight will only be used to establish a TEAM weight (unless you choose not to join a team). Weights will be kept confidential and will NEVER be reported. You have several options to weigh-in.

All of the weigh-in events have passed. Please contact Katie.Dunker@du.edu to self-report your weight one of the following methods:

  • Use the Weigh & Win Kiosk located on campus on the Driscoll Bridge (north side)
  • Use a scale at the Coors Fitness Center (must be a member)
  • Use a scale in Human Resources (Mary Reed room 430, let Katie know you’re coming: 1-4932)
  • Use a weight from a recent doctor's appointment
  • Facilities/Custodial staff - there is a scale at the Facilities Service Center and Custodial Building
  • Last resort... use a scale at home

If you cannot make any of these weigh-in events, please email Katie.Dunker@du.edu for alternative options

TEAMS:  Form teams of 4-6 by creating a team name and including the team name on your registration below. Appoint a team captain. The captain coordinates program details with Katie Dunker (very little work is  involved). Come to the kick-off party to get your official pre-holiday weight. (If you don’t want to be part of a team, you can still participate as an individual—but there are more prize opportunities for teams.)
