Technology and Data Services Review
Using the Technology Acquisition Policy as a guidepost, IT encourages reviewing the Software Catalog to see enterprise options available.
Submit the Technology and Data Services Review Form if:
- you are purchasing technology to be used as part of your teaching curriculum or for research (grant funded)
- you are signing up for a free trial of any software or trial for a new module to existing software platform
- you need a technology review as you are adding modules to an existing technology
- you need a technology review for a contract renewal
- you are signing a contract with a third-party vendor (non-technology acquisition) that includes sending or receiving data to the service provider
- you are purchasing or trialing a new technology that will be accessing, storing, sending/receiving, or hosting DU data (private, student, confidential, proprietary, research-related, or any other sensitive data). Personally identifiable information can include identifiers such as name, email, DU ID#, or other personal details. Please refer to the University of Denver Policy on Data Classification for more information on data types.
