The Denver Advantage
Stemming from its strategic plan, DU Impact 2025, the University of Denver has created a radical vision — known as The Denver Advantage — for transforming higher education and the student experience. The Denver Advantage focuses on creating spaces where people can establish a sense of belonging and build community, no matter their background and interests.
This vision calls for three new buildings — a First-Year Residence Hall, a Community Commons and the Pioneer Career Achievement Center — as well as the Campus Framework Plan, geared toward fostering a vibrant DU District. The Framework does so by blurring campus boundaries, allowing our students to take full advantage of the surrounding community and our neighbors to enjoy the benefits of our campus. The plan also aims to support community-engaged research through spaces and opportunities for collaboration. The Denver Advantage Campus Framework aims to position the University of Denver as a great college town in the heart of the city.
