The Denver Advantage

This is The Denver Advantage: A campus designed to fuel the collaborations and relationships proven to help students succeed, now and throughout their lives. It grows out of our strategic plan, DU IMPACT 2025, and our commitment to educate students holistically and prepare them to lead diverse organizations and communities.

Construction Update

Evans Crosswalk Reopens

The newly improved “Z” crosswalk along Evans Avenue next to Anderson Academic Commons opens Oct. 18, making the sidewalks on both sides of the street accessible once again. Beginning on Monday, Oct. 22, the Driscoll Bridge will close for the duration of construction on the new community commons building. Pedestrians and bikers are encouraged to use the new “Z” crosswalk on Evans Avenue, or the existing crosswalks at South High Street and Evans Avenue and South University Boulevard and Evans Avenue.

New Transportation Options

This summer, DU launched a pilot program with Chariot to provide a shuttle service to the DU community and brought 200 yellow dockless bikes to campus to provide new options for getting around our community. We've also introduced a new policy for personal mobility vehicles to keep our community safe.

Plan Update

Campus Life & Inclusive Excellence Offices Moved

As part of the construction for the Community Commons, Campus Life & Inclusive Excellence offices and student services in Driscoll North have moved to "the hub" across Driscoll Green, next to the Sturm College of Law.
