About the Office
DU Chancellor's Office
The chancellor serves as the University’s chief executive officer, providing administrative leadership for all campus programs, services, operations and activities. The chancellor also sets the institution’s academic vision and ensures effective leadership and management of the campus, while reporting to the Board of Trustees and working closely with the deans and Chancellor’s Cabinet. In addition, the chancellor represents the University to Denver, the Rocky Mountain West region, Colorado and the nation, as well as to our global network of alumni.
The chancellor also ensures the University’s fiscal well-being through oversight of our resource development and fundraising initiatives. As a leader, the chancellor is a thought leader and champions innovation, diversity, equity and inclusion as the University’s most essential values, both within our community and while representing DU in the higher education landscape.
