Past Event: A Discussion on the Department of Education’s Proposed Title IX Regulations

C+V Community Talk in Partnership with the Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX

On July 12, 2022, the U.S. Department of Education published proposed Title IX regulations for public comment. The Department’s proposed Title IX regulations seek to clarify and modify the August 2020 regulations. DU recognizes the changes, if implemented, would alter the way colleges and universities respond to gender-based violence.

Community + Values in partnership with the Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX will be hosting a C+V Special Edition Community Talk to discuss the proposed Title IX regulations, what it means for our community, and how community members can provide feedback to the Department of Education. Provost Mary Clark will moderate a panel discussion focused on the proposed changes and their anticipated impact.
