Prepared to Help
DU doctoral student Josh Burg credits DU's Graduate School of Professional Psychology with equipping him for a career in helping people navigate life's problems. “I just remember … in these group interviews with other students from different programs, I feel like I’m way better prepared for this than [they] are,” Burg says.
Grad Students Inspired
"Be purposeful" was the theme at DU's graduate Commencement. In his speech, Vista Equity CEO Robert Smith encouraged graduates to think and do, not observe. “You owe the world your focus," he said, "Be purposeful, be hopeful, be flexible in your views, but stubborn in your values. Contribute your brilliance.”
