Subject: Graduate Non-Degree Application, Summer Quarter 2020 forward

Date: April 13, 2020

The electronic non-degree application for graduate students launched on February 24, 2020 and received 84 submitted applications.  This application serves all non-degree students holding an earned bachelor’s degree wishing to enroll in a course in any College except Sturm College of Law. Below is the application open and close schedule for Summer Quarter 2020 to Summer Quarter 2021:

Summer Quarter 2020

May 4, 2020

June 21, 2020

Fall Quarter 2020

July 20, 2020

September 20, 2020

Winter Quarter 2021

October 19, 2020

January 10, 2021

Spring Quarter 2021

February 8, 2021

April 4, 2021

Summer Quarter 2021

May 3, 2021

June 20, 2021

In general, the non-degree application will open in week six of the term preceding the term that the prospective student wishes to enter.  As a reminder, departments retain control over when to consider and approve non-degree students for registration, since some departments may wish to wait to approve non-degree students to enroll until after priority registration for their degree- and certificate-seeking students has passed.

Starting in Summer Quarter 2020, OGE will no longer accept paper non-degree forms.  This practice was planned in February with the launch of the new electronic process, but with the developments of the University’s COVID-19 response, it is especially important to follow the electronic process.
