What is ArcGIS?
ArcGIS is used for creating maps, compiling geographic data, analyzing mapped information, sharing and discovering geographic information, using maps and geographic information in a range of applications, and managing geographic information in a database.
Cost and Eligibility:
ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro are available to all students, faculty, and staff at the University of Denver.
How do I start using ArcGIS?
Click here to access ArcGIS Online and to be authorized to use ArcGIS Pro. Click on the blue banner that says "University of Denver" and log in with your DU credentials. Your 'User Type' will be set to "Professional Plus" and your 'Role' to "Publisher."
