What is DUBot?
DUBot is a chatbot software tool that mimics a human agent, allowing the DU community to ask questions and receive quick feedback. DUBot provides interactive support, intelligence, DU personality, and culture with a strong online presence.
Cost and Eligibility:
DUBot is available to be implemented by all DU departments at no cost.

- Chatbot: Provide instant help on the web with an in-depth knowledge base of FAQs specific to your department
- Live Chat: Allow escalation to a departmental representative when a user needs more information
- Textbot: Reach out to current and prospective students through text and provide them the ability to get answers quickly through the bot or from a departmental representative
How do I access DUBot?
DUBot will pop up on the lower right corner of the screen of the following DU websites: IT Help Center, Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Student Financial Services, Academic Advising, Student Life, Housing, Office of Teaching and Learning, English Language Center, New Students and Families and the COVID-19 Response website.
Departments who will be included in the next phase of implementation are Parking, Study Abroad, ISSS, and University Libraries.

Departments across campus can provide support and save time – no need to dig through information or call customer support. DUBot is a way to streamline questions and provide immediate answers at any time of the day. This enhances customer service for the community and creates efficiency within departmental operations.
What questions can I ask DUBot?
Ask your questions and get answers from an extensive catalog of information from the following departments: IT Help Center, Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Student Financial Services, Academic Advising, Student Life, Housing, Office of Teaching and Learning, and the COVID-19 Response Team.
We are currently in Phase 1 of the DUBot implementation. The list of departments partnering with DUBot will continue to grow. If your department is interested in being part of the next phase of implementation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
What if DUBot doesn’t know the answer to my question?
If there is a representative available, you will have the option to connect with a real person via live chat. This is based on the staffing capabilities of each department and will not be available outside of business hours.
Questions that DUBot isn’t able to answer will be stored in a database for the department to review and add to their answer base for future users. As our community continues to ask questions, the answer base will grow and improve over time.
