The IT Help Center provides laptop support for the following:

  • On-campus wired and wireless networks
  • Public printers
  • Password resets
  • Anti-virus software (Crowdstrike)
  • External VPN client (Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client)
  • Windows 7, 8.1, 10 (Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 8 support has been discontinued. For assistance in upgrading, please contact the IT Help Center.)
  • macOS 10.10 (Yosemite), 10.11 (El Capitan), and 10.12 (Sierra) | 
    • There are compatibility issues with several DU systems and macOS High Sierra (10.13).  Review the details carefully before upgrading.
    • Macintosh 10.6 (Snow Leopard), 10.7 (Lion), Mac 10.8 (Mountain Lion), and Macintosh 10.9 (Mavericks) support has been discontinued.  For assistance in upgrading please contact the IT Help Center.
  • Microsoft Office 2010, 2013, 2016 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).  Microsoft Office 2016 for Windows and Mac can be downloaded for FREE, please visit go.du.edu/office365
  • DUnet software
  • VMWare (Horizon) View Client
  • DU system support (Email, PioneerWeb, passwords)
  • Basic software and hardware troubleshooting
