Information Security Asset Posture Assessment
The Information Security Team can provide assessment services to help IT Operations and System Administrators operate secure applications and servers. The vulnerability scanning services can help understand your risk and know which security issues arising from out of date software or insecure configurations needs to be remediated first. In addition, web application assessments can identify security issues in commercial or internally-developed applications that could put data at risk of unintended exposure.
Services Include:
- Black and Grey box vulnerability scanning and reporting by request.
- Proactive monthly campus-wide scanning for critical vulnerabilities for all servers on the campus network.
- Web application scanning (coming 2021).
- Ad hoc evaluation of web applications for common sapplication layer vulnerabilities.
