What is After Effects?
Adobe After Effects is the industry-leading digital visual effects and motion graphics software. After Effects can be used for keying, tracking, compositing, and animation in the post-production process.
Cost and Eligibility:
Beginning October 1st, 2024, Adobe Licensing is changing.
- Adobe Express (cloud-based content creation tool) will be automatically provisioned to all DU students. DU staff and faculty (including adjuncts) will need to request access to Adobe Express.
- Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (desktop PDF management application) will be available only by request for DU students, staff, and faculty (including adjuncts).
- Adobe Creative Cloud (All Apps) will remain available to current users, and new access can be requested via MyWeb request.

- Create your own or use presets to animate titles, credits and lower thirds
- Animate or set anything in motion with keyframes or expressions
- Add exciting effects, change a scene setting, add moving objects, make selective color adjustments and more
- Create compositions in After Effects and import from Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe programs
