Create, Activate, Play (4D)U

Create, Activate, Play (4D)U (CAP) is a University-wide festival that celebrates play and well-being through creative expression, group fitness, and wellness activities. It is designed to build community, strengthen a sense of belonging, and elevate the 4D Experience through bringing together students, staff, faculty, and administration for two days of exciting events, including workshops, activities, and fitness classes led by our very own DU faculty and staff. It will serve as a culminating celebration to “cap” off the quarter and academic year and represent a dynamic collaboration between the 4D Experience team, the Office of Student Engagement, Health Promotion, and Athletics and Recreation, among others.

Activities for this year’s festival include:

  • Finger painting led by Dr. Sarah Pessin, Faculty Senate President and Professor of Philosophy
  • Body pump fitness classes taught by Tonnett Luedtke, Executive Director of Academic Advising
  • “Spontaneous” dance party led by Dr. Niki Latino, Dean of Students
  • “Create, Activate, Play” writing station hosted by the Writing Program

We invite you to join us all-across campus on June 1st and 2nd to take part in CAP! If you would like to hear more about the festival and receive a detailed schedule before the festivities kick off, please enter your email below.
