Government Relations

Maintaining strong relationships with government partners is critical to advancing DU’s interests.  Whether collaborating with Colorado’s Federal Congressional delegation, Colorado’s Governor and General Assembly, or Denver’s Mayor and other elected and administrative officials, the University aims to solidify positions that align with DU’s prime mission to serve the public good.

Partnerships with government officials serve to assist DU to support innovation and research, provide financial resources to our students and support a workforce that is strengthened by sound government policies, rules and regulations concerning health care, wages and equal opportunity. Collaboration with the government is a key priority for the University.
